GroupM Quebec names Dumont as president
GroupM is the global media investment management operation of WPP.
In his new role, Dumont will be responsible for all of GroupM’s business activities in Quebec, including the work of agencies Mindshare, MEC, MediaCom, Maxus, Xaxis and Catalyst. He will be based in Montreal.
Dumont was most recently managing director, global client leader for MEC Paris, and had previously held a senior client leadership role with MEC in New York for more than four years.
“Axel’s track record, including his success with global and local clients in France and the US, makes him a great addition to our leadership team in Canada,” said Kelly Clark, GroupM North America CEO. “I know he will help our agencies and our clients win in Quebec.”
