AUSTRALIA – Research company Glow has launched a monthly survey to gather insights into changing consumer habits and sentiments towards environmental and social challenges.

Catalyst will poll more than 1,000 survey respondents in each chosen market, with a pilot programme initially launched in Australia.

The platform will provide businesses with data on consumer attitudes and priorities, including the kinds of products, services and corporate behaviour that will positively influence consumer behaviour to help the environment and society as a whole.

Partners for the Catalyst programme include NielsenIQ and Cadbury, and partners will be able to contribute questions each month and gain additional results and data.

Tim Clover, founder and chief executive of Glow, said: “By digging into these issues, we’ll be able to understand what consumers want and why, stimulate conversations about emerging challenges, and help businesses make more informed decisions and launch their own programs of action to create positive change.

“It’s become clear that we can no longer rely solely on governments to shoulder the burden of climate action. What’s encouraging is how many businesses want to take a greater responsibility for the impact they have on the environment and society – to lead and drive the change.”
