GlobalData launches platform for strategic intelligence

UK – Data and consulting business GlobalData has consolidated its strategic intelligence offer into a digital platform as it looks to help clients navigate the disruption caused by political uncertainty and other factors.

The change means the company’s strategic analysis, tools and access to analyst expertise are available in one place, rather than being delivered across individual industry intelligence units.

GlobalData’s strategic intelligence approach is used to inform strategy, identify emerging risks and track the impact of global themes over time.

The purpose-built platform focuses on foresight and supporting executive decisions. It offers a view of opportunity and risk across markets based on six modules: technology; macro and ESG; consumer; healthcare; industrials; and financial services.

Cyrus Mewawalla, head of strategic intelligence at GlobalData, said: “At a time where global themes are increasingly interconnected, developments in one area can rapidly create risk and opportunity in another. The recent geopolitical focus on Greenland, for example, has implications for energy security, supply chains and long-term investment.

“Meanwhile, agentic AI will disrupt workflows in several industries in short order. Leaders need a connected perspective that helps them understand disruption before it impacts their business.”
