GlobalData adds agentic ‘worker’

UK – Intelligence business GlobalData has launched an AI sales agent aimed at go-to-market (GTM) teams.

The company has developed the agent, dubbed ‘Sam’, as it looks to boost productivity in areas including commercial strategy and operations, business development and marketing.

The tool is built on GlobalData’s sales insight platform and is intended to help professionals make faster decisions by automating repetitive tasks. It draws on data and insights from the company’s databases and in-house analysts.

Sudeep Shouche, director of product innovation at GlobalData, said the agent can “plan, reason, and execute complex tasks” and added that it would allow clients to make faster decisions and “focus their expertise on high-value, strategic engagements”.

GlobalData’s new AI agent is part of a set of so-called ‘digital workers’ the company is developing to build on business decision-making workflows, including strategic areas such as innovation planning and competitive intelligence.
