GfK makes senior hires in Middle East and Asia Pacific

GERMANY — GfK has named four senior leaders to its regional management teams in Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (CEE-META), and Asia Pacific.

Caroline Henne becomes business development director for digital market intelligence in CEE-META. She previously worked in the company’s international client services team.

Sujata Mehta is appointed managing director for GfK Consumer Experiences in Malaysia, having previously led brand health studies for Nielsen in Asia Pacific, Middle East and African markets.

Stephen Potts becomes regional lead for healthcare in Asia. He joins from Kantar Health where he was managing director for Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa.

Sara van der Wildt is promoted to head of GfK Consumer Experiences in the Middle East. She’s been regional operations director for CEE-META since October 2010.

GfK’s global COO Debra Pruent (pictured) said: “These appointments give an important indication of our commitment to further strengthen our activities in Asia and the Middle East and to support the shared utilisation of our existing data, research solutions and resources.”
