GfK expands US fashion and lifestyle practice

US — GfK has expanded its North American presence in fashion and lifestyle research with the appointment of Dave Melnick as VP of consulting for those industries.

Melnick (pictured) joins from Nine West Holdings (formerly The Jones Group) where he was VP of Consumer Insights, CRM and Loyalty Marketing. He has also previously worked at Liz Claiborne, where he was director of market research and sales analysis. 

At GfK he will lead the retail team serving the fashion and lifestyle sectors, helping clients to ‘develop customer experiences that build long term brand loyalty'. 

He will be based in GfK’s Westport, CT office.
