US— IT analyst Gartner has reported first-quarter revenue up 11% to $329.6m, with net income up 50% to $29.2m.
Research revenue increased 16% to $243.4m, while the events business grew 15% to $15.5m. Consulting revenue was down 1% to $70.6m.
Gartner’s CEO Gene Hall said: “The momentum we saw in our business during 2010 has continued into 2011. Revenue, contract value, normalised EBITDA, and EPS all grew at double-digit rates during the first quarter putting us in a great position to deliver on our aggressive full-year growth targets.”
