G2 Crowd changes leadership

US – B2B tech review platform, G2 Crowd, has announced three of the original founders are returning to take leadership roles for its next phase of growth.

Co-founders Godard Abel (pictured) and Matt Gorniak return as chief executive officer and chief revenue officer respectively.

Co-founder, Tim Handorf, who has been CEO for the past four years will now become president and lead the product, engineering, design, research, people and culture functions. 

Abel has previously created cloud market business BigMachines, which was acquired by Oracle in 2013, and SteelBrick, which was bought by Salesforce in 2016.

Handorf, said: “As we enter this new phase of growth at G2 Crowd, our founding team has a terrific opportunity to come back together to lead to our rapidly accelerating venture to the next level.”

G2 Crowd has offices in Chicago and San Francisco and has more than 425,000 user reviews to help business professionals make better purchasing decisions.
