Fox International appoints Christian Brent to new role

UK — Christian Brent has been promoted to the newly created role of senior vice-president of global research and audience strategy for Fox International Channels (FIC).

He will head all audience research for Fox International Channels across the company’s three key regions: Europe & Africa, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. Brent’s remit will include TV ratings, digital analytics and agency projects reporting into Diego Londono, chief operating officer for FIC Europe & Africa.

Brent joined FIC in 2013 as vice-president audience research & strategy for Europe and Africa. He will continue to be based in London in his new role.

Fox International Channels’ brands include Fox, National Geographic and Star.

Brent’s experience covers management roles at numerous multinational companies both in the UK and the US. Before joining FIC in 2013, he spent seven years at BBC Worldwide, where he led the research and strategy unit for the BBC’s international channels business. Prior to that, he was head of research for Walt Disney Television, Latin America, based in Miami.
