Foodmrx founds customer insights platform

UK – Food, beverage, groceries and restaurant customer data company Foodmrx has launched its consumer insights platform.

The platform will allow users to carry out brand and media tracking, consumer profiling and trend spotting for the food and drinks, grocery and restaurant industries.

The platform will speak to 1,000 shoppers each month via online surveys and video interviews and will also launch a series of trend reports and access to data for subscribers.

Foodmrx is based in Manchester and was founded by Jonathan Watson in late 2022 and is part of the Rocketmrx Limited group.

Before founding Foodmrx, which is planning to expand its staff in the months ahead, Watson was chief product officer at The Insights Family and has also worked as a consultant to marketing and research agencies.

Watson said: “We’re all being asked to do more, with less at the moment. Yet consumer needs are evolving by the day.

“Everywhere you look, there are important opportunities but also urgent risks. Thankfully, our platform takes the hard work and cost out of understanding change.

“We’re very proud of the first iteration of our platform, but we’ll be working hard to continue developing it over the next few months. We have several new features planned, including ones that utilise artificial intelligence.”
