US — Market research tech solutions company FocusVision has announced the acquisition of quantitative market research tech and services firm Decipher for an undisclosed amount.
Decipher’s survey programming and reporting platform will now become part of FocusVision’s portfolio of products and means that the company can now offer comprehensive qualitative and quantitative technology solutions.
Eric Grosgogeat (pictured), president and CEO of FocusVision said: “Before making this acquisition, we evaluated many different quantitative research services and software providers and ultimately partnered with the Decipher team because of its widely respected technology platform which emphasises a mobile-first, cross platform approach to data collection.”
FocusVision’s clients will now have access to Decipher’s survey and reporting software platform and custom survey tools for authoring and deploying professional online surveys. Decipher’s clients will retain full access to their research portal, tools and reports.
Jamin Brazil, Decipher’s co-founder, will remain CEO of Decipher while Jayme Plunkett, Decipher’s other co-founder, will take the role of chief product officer for the combined entity.
The announcement follows FocusVision’s recent acquisition of Revelation.
Decipher is based in Fresno, California and operates in the UK under the name Decrypt.
