US – Business strategy company Magid has appointed Mauricio Ferreira as vice-president of quantitative research and analytics.
Ferreira joins the company from Hypothesis Group, where he held the position of chief methodologist. Prior to joining Hypothesis in 2008 he held quantitative and analytics roles with IMS Health (later IQVIA).
Based in Los Angeles, Ferreira will focus on Magid’s global media and entertainment practice, leading the development of the company’s ‘Emotional DNA’ product by integrating it with other data sets.
Kate Morgan, chief product officer at Magid, said: “Mauricio is a highly skilled quantitative research thinker and innovator. His experience with a broad spectrum of media and entertainment clients as well as with brands, and proven ability to generate insights that impact business growth and marketing strategies will bring tremendous value to Magid and our clients.”
