Facebook makes move on fitness app developer
Moves can track the distance consumers walk or run and measures calories burned, all using a smartphone’s built-in sensors. The price that Facebook paid for the Finnish company, which has fewer than 10 employees, has not been disclosed.
This is the latest purchase in Facebook’s recent shopping spree, having acquired Indian startup Little Eye Labs in January, messaging service WhatsApp in February and virtual reality headset maker Oculus VR shortly after.
