Ex-BBC designer Max Gadney joins Hall & Partners

UK— Hall & Partners has appointed Max Gadney, the former head of design and audience insight at BBC News, as its chief creative officer.

Gadney will lead the agency’s innovation, product development and visualisation teams across its 11 offices worldwide. He spent seven years as head of design and audience insight at the BBC, and most recently worked as a commissioning executive in the broadcaster’s multiplatform production arm, BBC Vision.

Gadney said: “I love helping people understand the world around them. The market research field is one of many where clients need to navigate an avalanche of information. I was drawn to Hall & Partners because of the value they put on insight and our ability to do something genuinely new and useful.”

Hall & Partners’ CEO Vanella Jackson said: “Max is experienced and passionate about data design and digital delivery. He will help guide the team to generate new ideas and build on our reputation for new thinking, innovation and creative capabilities.”
