ESTONIA — Mediaresearch and partner firm Tutu-uuringute have been chosen as the suppliers of electronic TV audience measurement in Estonia for the period 2015–2023.
Mediaresearch’s SimEar technology, which uses audiomatching to track viewing behaviour.
The partners saw off competition from AS Elien, GfK and Nielsen to win the tender, organised by EMOL, the Estonian association of TV broadcasters and media agencies.
Mediaresearch’s SimMetry technology will be used to monitor TV viewing behaviour. It’s SimEar measurement device uses audiomatching to detect what shows and channels are being watched and is “independent of the form or manner of TV reception”.
