THE NETHERLANDS – Data, research and insights association Esomar has appointed Jean-Marc Léger and Rob Berger as its Canadian representatives.
Léger is founder and chief executive officer of market research and polling firm Leger and the principal founder of the Worldwide Independent Network of Market Research. He also sits on the board of the Canadian Research Insights Council (CRIC).
Berger, managing director of Maru/Blue, leads the company’s online sample and data services business, and has previously held roles at Vision Critical and Ipsos.
Esomar’s annual conference is due to take place in Toronto in September. The two will work closely with US representative Reg Baker.
Finn Raben, general director of Esomar, said: “These appointments demonstrate our intention to increase the support we can offer our Canadian and North American members and partners and build bridges to our many other member communities across the world.”
