US – Marketing services holding company Engine has appointed Kasha Cacy to the newly created role of global chief executive officer.
Cacy joins the company from IPG Mediabrands-owned UM, where she held the position of US chief executive, overseeing clients including Chrysler, Coke and Hershey. Prior to joining UM in 2008, she was strategic planning director at McCann Erickson, and held roles at Ogilvy, Cheil and Wunderman.
Based in Engine’s New York headquarters, she will report to executive chairman Paul Caine.
Caine said: “Kasha has deep expertise across media, data, marketing and consulting. She will be key in leading Engine as we build upon our differentiated offering of data, insights, content, distribution and technology, with the goal of helping our brand, publisher and agency partners succeed in driving business growth.”
Engine Group recently renamed its US business units – business intelligence firm ORC International, digital agency DeepFocus and media agency Engine Media – under the simplified Engine.
