US— Elevation Partners, the private equity investment firm co-founded by U2 singer Bono, has upped its investment in media analytics agency MarketShare Partners with a $32m injection of funding.
MarketShare said that this new investment will be used to fund acquisitions, help its expansion in Asia Pacific and EMEA and to develop its range of analytics tools.
Jon Vein, the firm’s co-CEO, said: “Elevation has been a very strategic and supportive partner, and we are pleased with their vote of confidence and increased value we’ll be seeing from this partnership.”
Elevation’s senior adviser Ted Meisel added: “MarketShare is transforming marketing by bringing a new level of transparency to decision making. CMOs are rapidly adopting MarketShare’s industry-leading analytics solutions to grow their businesses more effectively.”
A $10m funding round, reported on earlier this week, is part of this latest invesntment from Elevation, who first took a minority stake in MarketShare Partners in 2009.
