eDigital names Eccleston to board, hires research manager

UK— Online agency eDigital Research has promoted Derek Eccleston to the board of directors and hired a new research manager, Daniel Curtis.

Eccleston (pictured) has been with the firm for a year and was previously head of research. He has worked in the industry for more than 17 years.

Michelle Fuller, director at eDigital, said: “Since joining us, Derek has played a pivotal role in helping us achieve this vision [of business growth]. He is a talented research strategist, one of the best in the business, and we are delighted to have him as a board director.”

New research manager Daniel Curtis joins from Mindshare where he was business director for the Unilever account and has had spells at TNS and ITV. He was also previously a member of the Institute of Practitioners in Advertising’s research advisory committee and part of the National Readership Survey’s research development group.

Fuller commented: “Our research team is integral to our business. One of the sectors that we are focused on is telecommunications. We already have some high profile clients in this space and recognise that we need a dedicated manager. We are really excited to welcome Daniel to this role, where his focus will be to continue to explore and develop new technologies and products that gain a deeper understanding of consumers’ wants and needs.”
