Edge by Ascential develops retail platform

US – Edge by Ascential, the information company’s data and insights business, has launched a retail insight platform aimed at manufacturers and retailers.

The tool will bring together existing data, analytics and content from Ascential’s analytics companies Planet Retail and RNG, in a newly designed platform.

Users will be able to access data using a new search engine and filtering features and customise reports of historical and forecast retail performance.

Edge Retail Insight will also include a section for industry news and bring together all category and market reports under a research section.

Danny Silverman, chief marketing officer at Edge by Ascential, said the tool offers clients “cutting-edge tools, processes, data and resources” to make “faster, more effective decisions”.
