Ebiquity buys media auditor Fairbrother Lenz Eley
Ebiquity will pay £5m upfront for the firm, which had unaudited revenue of £8.6m last year and operating profit of £1m.
The company, headed by Ian Fairbrother and Mike Eley in the UK and Joachim Lenz in Germany, employs over 70 people.
Fairbrother remains FLE’s chief executive post-acquisition.
Commenting on the acquisition, Ebiquity CEO Michael Greenlees (pictured) said: “Our strategy is to develop both the depth of our offering, our geographic reach, and ensure that we continue to keep pace with this increasingly complex global media performance measurement market.”
In the past year Ebiquity has bought Faulkner Media Management in Australia, a majority stake in Russian media auditor The Joined Up Media Company and UK-based Echo Research.
