UK— Media intelligence firm Ebiquity has acquired Australian media analytics consultancy Faulkner Media Management in a deal that could be worth up to £3.7m.
Ebiquity will pay an initial £2.5m for Faulkner, which offers media auditing and consultancy services to clients, with the remainder of the deal’s value to be paid if performance targets are hit between now and 2014. The firm boasts more than 60 clients across Australia and South East Asia
FMM founder Eric Faulkner and general manager Chris Graham, along with the rest of the firm’s 25 members of staff, will join Ebiquity.
Ebiquity CEO Michael Green said: “Today’s acquisition is another important step for Ebiquity and strengthens our position as a leading provider of global media research and data analytics. The Asian and Pacific region is a complex and growing market and FMM already works with a number of significant clients across the region.”
