UK – Dentsu Aegis Network-owned media and marketing agency DWA, which is part of performance company Merkle, has appointed Zenith’s Rob Gold as its UK managing director.
Gold was managing partner at Zenith for over 10 years, leading the planning teams at the agency.
Based in London, he will work with DWA’s business-to-business and technology clients, which include Intel and Cisco.
The appointment is one of the first key hires for DWA since it was acquired by Dentsu’s performance marketing company Merkle in late 2017.
Bob Ray, chief executive at DWA, said: "Rob’s experience makes him a perfect fit to grow DWA and Merkle’s people-based marketing practice. Rob will help solidify our reputation as the foremost expert in B-to-B in the UK and Europe."
