UK – Employee-owned market research agency DJS Research has appointed 14 new staff across a range of departments and seniorities.

The new recruits include associate director William Scott (pictured) and two research managers (Amy Greenwood and Sylvie Harding), as well as a number of new appointments within DJS’s growing operations team.

Scott has spent more than a decade in the industry, having started his career at Nielsen in London and then going on to take up a role as associate director at Future Thinking before opening YouGov’s Manchester office. His skill set includes using both quantitative and qualitative methodologies in a range of applications such as advertising, communications, pricing, market sizing and new product development.

He commented: “Becoming employee-owned is a very exciting move for DJS Research and is definitely something that attracted me to the company. It fits perfectly with DJS’s ethos of rewarding their employees’ loyalty and hard work, as well as allowing them to shape the company’s future. It was certainly a very attractive proposition when choosing a new employer.”

Other hires include senior research executives Alexandre Tatry-Gautier and Ciaran McGlone. Meanwhile, recent graduate Alex Scaife has also been offered a permanent role as junior research executive after impressing his line managers during a work experience placement.

In addition, the company has appointed its first-ever HR assistant, Rahat Imran to support HR manager Lucy Pawson, who is now involved with the agency’s new Employee Ownership Trust.

The other recent recruits are Maya Winter and Nicola Shorrock, who have joined as project assistants; Amie Flynn as junior research executive; Amanda Brightman as junior field and recruitment executive; Liam Casey as senior data executive and Daniel Hitchen as junior software developer.
