Dentsu Aegis hires Nick Brien as Americas CEO

US – Dentsu Aegis Network has hired Nick Brien to lead its Americas and US business, replacing Nigel Morris who is becoming chief strategy and innovation officer.

Brien (pictured left), who will take up his new role in August and be based in New York, joins from Hearst’s iCrossing, where he was global chief executive. He had previously been chief executive of Interpublic’s McCann World Group. 

Morris (pictured right) has been chief executive of the US operation since 2009, and the Americas since 2011. His latest role is a newly-created position, intended to pioneer new strategic and innovative solutions and practices. He will be based in London.
