De Groose exits Dentsu Aegis Network
Her successor has yet to be announced, but in the interim Giulio Malegori, CEO for EMEA, will work with her to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities.
De Groose (pictured) joined Dentsu Aegis Network in 2009, initially as UK CEO for Carat, before being promoted to UK & Ireland CEO in 2014.
She said: “After eight wonderful years at Dentsu Aegis, I have decided that now is the right time to step down. I have loved every moment of working with this incredibly talented team of people and I am extremely proud of everything that we have achieved. Together we have transformed this business, nearly doubled its revenue, and welcomed new agencies and colleagues into the family.”
Malegori added: “Tracy has been a great asset for our UK business which has been growing both organically and via strategic and relevant acquisitions. More importantly Tracy has built a very strong leadership team in the UK.”
