Databricks invests in LlamaIndex
Following the investment, Databricks will increase its technical integration with the LlamaIndex platform to make it easier for users to access unstructured data parsing and structured data extraction on the Databricks data intelligence platform.
Prior to the investment, the two companies worked together, with LlamaIndex integrated with Databricks’ MLFlow and Mosaic AI Vector Search tools.
The size of the investment has not been disclosed.
LlamaIndex allows companies to build and deploy custom knowledge AI agents and converts unstructured data into formats optimised for large language models (LLMs).
