CRIC hires CIO

CANADA – Insights industry trade body Canadian Research Insights Council (CRIC) has appointed Arundati Dandapani as its chief editor and intelligence officer.

Dandapani (pictured) has also been named chief operating officer (COO) at the Certified Analytics and Insights Professionals of Canada (CAIP Canada), which is supported by CRIC.

Before joining CRIC and CAIP Canada, Dandapani was chief editor and intelligence officer at the Marketing Research and Intelligence Association.

She is also founder of Generation1.ca, a website that showcases the expertise of Canadian immigrants and help them connect with brands and improve their career prospects.

At CRIC, Dandapani will be responsible for communications, events, sponsorships, growing CRIC’s membership and other membership activities.

As COO at CAIP Canada, Dandapani will support the organisation’s growth and membership retention.

John Tabone, chief administrator of CRIC and director of CAIP Canada, said: “We are fortunate to welcome Arundati to CRIC’s and CAIP Canada’s leadership team.

“She brings a strong combination of skills, experience, and passion to help us further increase the value that we offer members through both associations.”
