ComScore adds consultant for Australian web measurement bid
Jephcott (pictured) was most recently at Synovate where he held a number of roles including executive vice president of online arm ViewsNet and head of media research and regional director for operations in Asia Pacific.
He was also vice president and international research director at Media Metrix when it was acquired by ComScore in 2002, and went on to work with TNS in Australia within the firm’s TV research division.
Jephcott’s role at ComScore will be to help lead the firm’s bid to win the IAB web measurement contract in the country, which was announced in September and has attracted proposals from 21 companies.
ComScore’s executive vice president for Asia Pacific Will Hodgman said the firm was “thrilled” with the appointment and added: “Mr. Jephcott is a household name in audience research. His extensive industry experience and research expertise will be a valuable asset in ComScore’s bid for the IAB audience tender.”
