ComRes appoints European insight manager

Europe People

UK— Pollster ComRes has appointed Monika Matyastikova to the new role of European insight manager to head up the firm’s “growing portfolio” of European Union-related work.

Matyastikova was previously at the London Chamber of Commerce, where she worked on the Enterprise Europe Network, an organisation that helps small businesses work across the European marketplace.

She previously had a spell with public affairs agency Burson Marsteller, and worked in the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Enterprise and Industry earlier in her career.

Matyastikova takes charge of ComRes’ EU work, which includes an omnibus survey panel of MEPs, an omnibus survey of ‘Brussels Influencers’ and bespoke research projects.

Chairman Andrew Hawkins said: “Over the last two years our work in Brussels has gone from strength to strength, and it now represents a core driver of our business. With the ComRes Europoll panel survey of MEPs at its heart, our EU client portfolio includes some of the world’s largest global companies. We are delighted that Monika has joined the team, and we look forward to driving forward our leading position in Brussels stakeholder perception research.”
