Companies join under one banner as MarketCast Group

US – Consumer insights business MarketCast has come together with its agencies Insight Strategy Group and Fizziology under the banner of a newly formed parent company, MarketCast Group.

Los Angeles-headquartered MarketCast, which provides market research and data analytics services to the entertainment industry, acquired consumer research and strategy firm Insight Strategy Group in 2015, and social analytics company Fizziology in 2017.

The new group, part of private equity firm Kohlberg & Company’s portfolio, has been created to reflect the three companies’ expansion into new business lines, according to MarketCast.

Henry Shapiro, chief executive at MarketCast Group, said: "MarketCast Group unites our companies by a singular vision. Each of our companies is distinct yet complementary to the whole. Coming together under one banner preserves the brand equity of each business while communicating our broader unity and value to customers across the end markets we serve."
