CivicScience agrees sports journal data partnership
The partnership will see Sports Business Journal have access to CivicScience’s consumer intelligence platform to allow it to analyse sports fan behaviour, spending patterns and other emerging trends.
The launch was accompanied by the release of Fifa World Cup consumer data covering consumer sentiment, viewing preferences and engagement patterns around the tournament, which is due to take place in 2026 across the US, Canada and Mexico.
John Dick, founder and chief executive at CivicScience, said: “This partnership represents a significant milestone in our mission to bring real-time consumer insights to the business of sports.”
Sports Business Journal research director David Broughton added: “The sport business world has depended on SBJ for high-end, actionable research for nearly three decades, and as someone who has taken advantage of CivicScience data many times over the years, I am excited about what this partnership will provide to our readers.”
