China’s Baifendian Group acquires InsightWorks

CHINA – Big data and AI solutions provider Baifendian Group has bought leading Chinese online survey company InsightWorks.

Established in 2011, InsightWorks combines big and survey data. Its Mobile Consumer Q&A Community has more than three million active members, becoming the largest online consumer survey community in China.

Its clients include Tencent, Unilever, L'Oréal, Starbucks, Pepsi, Midea, SF-Express, Ipsos, GfK and CTR.

Zuo Yunpeng, CEO of InsightWorks, said: "After the involvement in Baifendian, InsightWorks will achieve more long-term development in technology, market and ecosystem to further take the lead in the consumer insight market in China."

Meng Su, chairman & CEO of Baifendian Group, added: "Both companies will jointly explore the innovation and change in online surveys and consumer insight and are committed to providing users with more agile and intelligent products and applications to create  China’s ‘SurveyMonkey’ and Google Surveys."
