HONG KONG— Former Synovate boss Adrian Chedore has been appointed chairman at ABN Impact, a research agency and consultancy focusing on the Asia region.

Chedore (pictured) retired as Synovate’s global CEO in mid-2009 but remained with the firm as a consultant for a few months after departing. Since stepping down from at Synovate, Chedore has served as a non-executive director at Vision Critical.

ABN Impact CEO Mazier Amirahmadi said that Chedore’s appointment had been made to “further facilitate the consultancy’s expansion and growth opportunities in both geographical and operational terms”.

Amirahmadi added: “Adrian has unparallelled experience in developing market research in Asia; he is a true pioneer and will be bringing new levels of thought leadership and strategic vision to the firm. His dynamism will enable us to continue building on the momentum that is already underway at ABN Impact.”
