Cello continues healthcare push with Red Kite aquisition
Red Kite will be merged with Cello’s existing pharmaceutical consulting business MSI. Jonathan Dancer, who founded Red Kite in 1999, will join the board of MSI as managing partner.
Clients of the company include Abbott, Astellas, Bayer, Pfizer and Roche.
Last month Cello bought the US healthcare communications business MedErgy. The research and consulting group says it wants to build up its capabilities in the health sector as it operates at a higher margin than its other client sector work.
Commenting on the Red Kite acquisition, Cello’s group corporate development director Stephen Highley said: “We are looking forward to building on the exciting progress we are making in establishing Cello as a leading player in healthcare marketing globally.”
