Carrigan joins D&B as president

US — Robert Carrigan has become the president, CEO and director of commercial information and insight company D&B.

Carrigan (pictured) most recently served as CEO of IDG Communications and replaces Sara Mathew, D&B’s current chairman and CEO, who had previously announced her intention to retire.

In addition, D&B’s current lead director Christopher Coughlin becomes the non-executive chairman of the board as of 7 October 2013.

Coughlin said: “Bob quickly emerged as the candidate who would bring a powerful new perspective to our business. His track record of strategic leadership and innovation, combined with his ability to leverage a company’s core strengths and assets, uniquely position him to begin a new chapter in D&B’s history.”
