UK — Media agency, Carat, has hired digital veteran, James Harris, as its new chief digital officer reporting to global president, Doug Ray.
Harris (pictured) has more than 20 years experience in the industry, and has previously worked at Carat. He was also a founder of both Diffiniti, the digital specialist agency which later became iProspect, and, subsequently, Aegis Media Labs, a specialist digital division within Aegis Media.
In the past five years he has held roles at UM, IPG and, most recently, at AOL where he was international head of agencies.
Harris replaces Anthony Rhind who left the company in August.
