INDIA — Dentsu Aegis Network has acquired a majority stake in India’s social and digital media agency, WATConsult.
The network of eight global brands, including Carat, Dentsu, Dentsu media, iProspect, Isobar, mcgarrybowen, Posterscope and Vizeum has announced its acquisition of the agency, which has over 160 employees across a number of Indian locations.
WATConsult will become part of digital marketing agency Isobar and will be known as WATConsult – Linked by Isobar. Rajiv Dingra will continue as CEO of WATConsult – Linked by Isobar.
Terms of the deal have not been disclosed.
