UK – WPP-owned media network Mindshare has appointed Carat’s digital and data officer, James Harris, as its global chief strategy officer.

Harris (pictured) has more than 25 years’ experience across digital and non-digital business.

He joins from Carat where he was most recently global chief digital and data officer, responsible for driving the network’s digital strategy. He has also been international head of agencies for AOL and managing director of digital services for IPG Mediabrands.

Harris co-founded a number of successful agencies including iProspect (formerly Diffiniti) and Mediacom North. He also wrote the book Think More Analogue, Be More Digital.
