CallMiner plots expansion after $4m investment

US— Speech analytics firm CallMiner has secured $4m in Series C funding from four private equity investors.

Sigma Partners, Intersouth Partners, Inflexion Partners and an undisclosed strategic partner invested the cash which will be used to fund the firm’s growth and expansion plans.

CallMiner launched the latest version of its speech analytics tool – CallMiner Eureka 7 – earlier this year, which will be at the forefront of the company’s expansion.

CEO and president Terry Leahy (pictured) said: “As CallMiner enters 2011, we are poised to capture an even larger share of the market with our advanced enterprise speech analytics product, as well as other expansion plans.”
