Bruce Friend named new president of MRC
Friend (pictured), who has replaced Leslie Wood, chief research officer of Nielsen Catalina Solutions, will continue in his current role at Maru/VCR&C.
During his 25-year career he has held senior research positions at client companies including Sony Pictures Entertainment, MTV, HBO and agencies Saatchi & Saatchi, Y&R Advertising and OTX/Ipsos.
He said: “Since its founding, MRC has demonstrated tremendous leadership in supporting research innovation across the industry, including the adoption of new technologies and new approaches to gathering and analysing data.
“I look forward to working closely with my colleagues to continue to advance the state of the art in our industry.”
