BrainActive expands eastern European panels

ROMANIA— Online agency BrainActive Market Research has increased its panel sizes in Russia, Poland and Turkey by “approximately 40%”.

The firm said that after the expansion its panel in Russia will have more than 450,000 respondents, more than 270,000 in Poland and more than 200,000 in Turkey.

BrainActive claimed that the increase followed more demand from clients for access to respondents in the region. The firm’s business development director Mihai Zamfir said: “This is by far one of the business decisions we are most proud of, because we have managed to find the correct answer to a new trend created in our business within a short time frame.”

The company operates online panels in 19 countries, including Ukraine, the Czech Republic and Hungary, and says that its total number of panelists is more than 1.6 million.

Zamfir added: “We will continue keeping a close eye on the evolution of online market research data collection needs and wants in the other countries we operate in and try to size up our reach accordingly, on a regular basis.”
