Based in Boston and Bangalore, Mu Sigma’s 3,500 decision scientists, methodologies and innovation platforms will be used by BCG to complement its existing strategy, tech and analytics services.

Rich Lesser (pictured), president and CEO of BCG, said: “Nearly every industry in the world is addressing the threats and opportunities of digital disruption and speed is of the essence. In partnering with Mu Sigma, we look forward to providing our clients with even more tools and capabilities to quickly identify the areas where digital efforts can produce a step change in performance.”

This is the latest in a number of data analytics and management consulting partnerships. KPMG tied up with IBM Watson to use its cognitive computing tech in March and Accenture bought analytics consultancy OPS Rules in May.
