UK— GfK Media has appointed former BBC researcher Jude De Souza as research manager for the ITV Panel, an online research community run on behalf of the commercial broadcaster.
ITV awarded GfK the panel contract in 2006. It has 8,000 members and generates over 3,000 responses each day.
Joanne Wilbraham, joint managing director of GfK Media, said De Souza has a “wealth of clientside experience in turning panel data into targeted business direction”.
De Souza was latterly news research manager at the BBC, looking into the audience challenges facing the BBC’s news output. In total he spent five years with the public service broadcaster.
