Association analytics platform Skip appoints CEO

Based in New Orleans, Skip is an AI-based analytical workspace designed for associations to access their data.
Users of the platform can use natural language to receive insights. The platform connects to existing systems and generates code that runs within the customer’s environment.
Patterson has worked in enterprise software in commercial, non-profit and membership organisations for the past three decades.
He was most recently chief executive at Fionta for seven years, before moving to a strategic advisory role in 2025. Prior to that, he spent nearly a decade at Aptify and, following its acquisition, became senior vice-president of enterprise product strategy at Community Brands (now Momentive).
Blue Cypress develops products and services for the association and non-profit sector. Patterson will lead go-to-market efforts for Skip.
