Alida expands Asia-Pacific team

HONG KONG – Customer experience (CX) and insights platform Alida, formerly Vision Critical, has made a raft of new hires in its Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) team.

Phillip Walsh (pictured) has been hired as general manager for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific. He is the former regional vice-president for APJ at Kony, and has previous roles at Atomic Software, BMC Software, Pegasystems and IBM Australia.

Alida has appointed Jodarna Meade as head of customer success for the APJ region. Meade was previously in charge of Alida’s sales operations, customer success management and partner ecosystems in North America.

Meade, who has relocated back to the Asia-Pacific region, also spent a decade leading marketing at Lendlease before joining Alida.

Karen Lo has been hired as head of marketing, and has prior experience leading corporate communications and marketing at Dimension Data and Hewlett Packard Enterprises.

Wingsan Lun will join the APJ team as senior sales executive. He will work to expand the firm’s customer base in the region, and his previous companies include Temenos, Adobe and Salesforce.com.

Alida has hired Uma Jain as partner manager for APJ. Jain previously worked for Kore.ai, Outsystems and Kony.

Jagan Sivanesan will lead Alida’s APJ solution engineering team as principal solution engineer. Prior roles include spells at Kony and Wipro Technologies.

The appointments follow the company’s recent hiring of Steven Medeiros as general manager of APJ. Medeiros said: “Each leader brings unique expertise that is fundamental in propelling our business to the forefront of the CX industry in Asia-Pacific and Japan.

“Their collective wealth of experience will drive our next phase of growth in the region.”
