Alchemer names chief customer officer

US – Customer experience and intelligence company Alchemer has promoted Ryan Tamminga to chief customer officer.

Tamminga (pictured) will lead Alchemer’s global customer strategy in his new role, overseeing customer success, support, services and experience operations, as well as product management and user experience.

Prior to taking up his new role, Tamminga was senior vice-president of customer success and product, and has worked at Alchemer since 2019.

As chief customer officer, Tamminga will prioritise strengthening customer engagement, scaling support programmes, expanding value realisation initiatives and developing the company’s use of AI.

Martin Mrugal, chief executive at Alchemer, said: “Ryan’s passion for improving processes and solving complex customer challenges has consistently translated into great success for our customers.

“Ryan’s clear vision for how we can better serve customers is core to our mission. This promotion reflects his strong leadership as well as our strategic priority to continue to put customers at the forefront of everything we do.”
