Added Value names new MD after management reshuffle

AUSTRALIA— Brand consultancy Added Value has moved managing director Melissa Cary to the new role of client development director and promoted deputy MD James Pike to take her place.

Pike (pictured) started working at the firm’s UK office seven years ago before moving to its operation in Japan and then landing in Australia.

Earlier in his career he worked in brand roles on the client side with Tetley Tea, Green Giant and Häagen-Dazs. He said: These changes are really about evolving our business for the future, keeping it fresh and relevant and building on the momentum of growth that we’ve seen in recent years.”

Cary’s new role sees her take on global responsibilities and she will work on new service offerings both in Australia and the surrounding region.

She said: “We already use our international network constantly, but this will bring a specific focus to identifying and developing the new and innovative service offerings that Added Value is renowned for.”
