Accenture buys social agency Superdigital
Founded in 2013, Superdigital offers social strategy services, content production and community building, with a focus on short-form video. The company employs around 40 people and is headquartered in Florida, with offices in New York, Boston and Los Angeles.
Accenture said the deal would bolster its existing client offer in social marketing, including audience strategy, content and measurement.
The acquisition of Superdigital is the latest addition for Accenture Song, with recent deals including the acquisition of insight and marketing agency Unlimited in 2024.
Sean Lackey, Accenture Song’s marketing practice lead for the Americas, said: “For many of our clients, social media is where their audiences see them first. Leading with social is essential to building connections, experiences and driving demand.
“Superdigital brings added strength in areas where our clients are seeking an advantage – at the intersection of creativity, data, and technology – and complements our vision for marketing reinvention.”
The financial terms were not disclosed.
