The deal will strengthen Accenture’s strategic advisory and its advanced engineering capabilities for Palantir software, which Decho specialises in.

Founded in 2024, Decho is a Palantir strategic alliance partner that works with organisations on AI projects, data model design and application engineering. The company also conducts training to support teams.

Accenture said acquiring Decho would allow it to leverage Palantir software for scaling generative AI, with a focus on clients in the health, government, defence and commercial sectors in the UK and overseas.

Decho employs a team of around 40 specialist engineers with expertise across Palantir platforms, including its foundry and artificial intelligence platform.

Accenture will integrate the business into its data and AI organisation in the UK.

The financial terms of the acquisition have not been disclosed.

Bryan Rich, global data and AI lead for health and public service at Accenture, said Decho is “positioned to provide capabilities required in the most demanding industries with its combined Palantir and generative AI expertise, strong ecosystem relationships and proprietary products”.

Rich added: “Our acquisition of Decho helps our public and commercial sector clients gain data and AI advantage to meet their critical objectives and reinvent their operations with more transparency and resilience.”

Anna Davies, co-founder and managing director at Decho, said: “By scaling our software understanding with Accenture’s data and AI capabilities, we can jointly help organisations integrate generative AI where it matters the most – and drive tangible and enduring outcomes.”
